Studying for the GMAT. Sunday, June 08, 2008 I've finally got into the rhythm of studying again after a few years. I've been talking about going back to school for a long time now and I'm just now working toward making that dream a reality. I have the GMAT Princeton Review 2008 and completed the Math portion of the practices. This was a lot of fun and quite a review. Although there was no Calculus or Graph Theory, the questions were quite difficult. The hardest part is the "Data Sufficiency" section where the answer choices are: A. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient. B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient. D. BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement alone is sufficient. E. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient. F. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient. These bother the hell out of me, but after a few practices, and tricks they taught me, its a little easier...just a little. Working on the Verbal section starts tomorrow and I already know I'll be having trouble with this part. The introduction says the English follows GMAT rules, not typical spoken English rules. Thanks a lot GMAC... Labels: gmat, learning, reading, studying 0 Comments Add a comment |
