PepsiCo in the Fall!
Friday, July 22, 2005
I just got an offer today to take up a part time job with PepsiCo in the Fall! If this works out right, I'll get setup to work remotely since I don't go to school Tuesdays and Thursdays.

On top of that, *bucks hooked me up with a free Iced Double Tall White Mocha!

P.S. Windows Vista (aka Longhorn) will release a Beta on August 3, 2005.

asp:repeater
Wednesday, July 20, 2005
asp:repeater is really awesome, especially when you nest them to display hierarchical data. Be careful when doing this!

I spent freaking 1.5 days discovering that the order DataTables are put into the DataSet makes a difference. What ever the parent table is, be sure to add it first in the DataSet, then add the child table after.

P.S. Forget minimize, maximize, and resize...fold the freaking window!!!

I swear. It loves the RAM.

Remove the bottom screws (2) with a small phillips-head screwdriver.Position the computer like you would normally use it.Lift the keyboard gently by picking up the last row of keys.Flip keyboard over without rmeoving the cable.Install the RAM, like any other RAM.

creepy, but awesome flash video

RAM is delicious.

I cant decide. I'm torn. If money wasnt an issue, I'd get the Sony. But I can do one of two things. The OCZ shown below for $44.95 OR the Sony for $69.98 (before taxes).

Which one looks better? Actually, the real question is if the Sony is worth $25.03 more than the OCZ, should I spend that much more for the Sony? I need more opinions.

[$69.98] 512MB Sony VAIO Notebook 200pin PC2100 DDR SODIMM[$44.95] OCZ 512MB DDR PC2100 SO-Dimm

no point in comparing the price. OCZ is the clear winner.

Think I'm crazy? My friend is. g35 > 350z, but for me, RAM is RAM. I'll pick up the OCZ at fry's tomorrow after work.

Check out this AWESOME keyboard!!!

Today is 7-11.
Monday, July 11, 2005
Get your FREE Slurpees! Got mine, 3 times today: before work, lunch at work, and after work. Too bad you Houstonians don't have a single 7-11 in town.
On another note, I hate wearing slacks and I'm going to get a Master's in CS.

4th of July Weekend.
Tuesday, July 05, 2005
[Friday] Plano to Houston's detour is the best thing ever! Twisted two-lane roads, Richland Chambers Reservoir, added 50 miles to the odometer, and no traffic. Later that night we made the trip to San Antonio. [Saturday] Sea World is the BOMB. Shamu (all 5 of them), the dolphins, and other animals are awesome. Pictures coming soon... [Sunday] Market Square was only like 5 minutes from the hotel. Then we headed back to Houston for Joesph's Birthday BBQ/Pool Party. [Monday] Houston to Plano trip took about 3.5 hours and earned me a Free Gas Container!
